We want to thank all who participated and contributed to our Benefit on July 14th. We had a great time and raised quite a bit of money for the Croton Bombers Organization.
Thank you to all of our sponsors: Harbor at Charles Point, Jessica Calamera and her band “Over the Top”, Val Santucci of Premier Athletic Club in Montrose, Maria’s Pizza in Yorktown Heights and Tenampa Mexican Restaurant in Croton.
Congratulations to the 16U Croton Bombers for winning the Tanger Outlets Brush Back Bash 2013 Tournament in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware!
Due to the weather, we had no choice but to cancel our tournament. However, during the next few games (13U and 14U), we will still be selling our raffle tickets for the 50/50 raffle. The 50% of the money we raise will go to Ed Randall’s Fans4acure, just as planned.
The Croton Bombers Organization will be hosting the “Bat for A Cure” charity baseball tournament to raise money for prostate cancer awareness and research. The event will take place from Friday, May 24th through Sunday, May 26th. 14U teams will play at Peekskill Stadium on Louisa St. in Peekskill. 13U teams will play at Croton High School at 36 Old Post Rd S. There will be concessions, and a 50/50 raffle throughout the weekend. All proceeds will go to Ed Randall’s Fans for the Cure Foundation. If you would like to make a donation or a contribution to our concessions, please email Steve Riccio at email@example.com.
Officials from The Croton Bombers Baseball Club announced today that live play-by-plays and stats for every game this season will be made available online through a new technology called GameChanger. Now fans, local media and other team followers can follow the team’s online “GameStream,” even when they can’t be at the field.
Too good to be true? Here’s how it works: Bombers scorekeepers will be using the GameChanger mobile application to physically score each game. Every play and update recorded by the scorekeeper on the app – yes, every pitch, hit and run – will be instantly posted online where registered fans can follow the action on any pc or mobile device.
“Live online game feeds have always been reserved for the big leagues – until now,” said Ted Sullivan, co-founder of the GameChanger technology. “The ability to now ‘watch’ a local youth game while you’re at work or in a business meeting is absolutely priceless – just ask any working parent with a kid on the field. We’re excited that The Croton Bombers Baseball Club is bringing GameChanger to community fans.”
Bombers fans can sign up to follow the action here: http://www.gamechanger.io/team Click in “find teams” at the top of the page and enter Croton Bombers in the search bar. Find your son’s team (13u, 14u, 15u, 16u, or 17u) and click on it and ask for “permission” to be a fan and follow the team for the 2013 spring, summer or fall season.
